Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Can the CSV file be protected?

The boss considers the list of customers I've created wtih istorelocator to be private. I've made it so that you can't access the plugin unless you are logged in to the website but anyone could download the csv file if they knew the address. Is it possible to protect the csv file so that it can't be accessed unless someone is logged in? Will it get indexed by bots where it is?

Dear Nightmusic,

The CSV file is not indexed by any search engine because the entire file path is not displayed anywhere. However it is still accessible if someone knows istorelocator file structure.

Is your web server Apache (usually Linux) or IIS (Windows)?

In order to deny access to the file directly when using Apache (most cases), please create a .htaccess file with the following content in /plugins/system/istorelocator/data/
order deny,allow 
deny from all

I'll add this file to the next iStoreLocator release.
