Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Custom Redirect not working

Hi there,

Just purchased this module and everything works fine except for the fact thats its not redirecting to the custom url when message has been sent. Instead it keeps going to the ugly thank you text. Tried full url starting with http plus just starting with index.php

Using Joomla 1.5.17

Would apreciate your help on this

There might be a javascript incompatibility.

Hi, Similar here, I have a component -> Contacts which uses custom fields, in the menu link I can specify global
Thank you message options
Joomla default
Show sent email message- HTML Template
Javscript alert
Custom redirect
Use Global

I select custom redirect and put the redirect url to a menu id and that loads a article, so client can use an article as the thankyou...
All works beautifully

In module the option is

After form is submitted show
Global
Form
Thank you message

So no redirect and no redirect box below for url

I therefore selected global and in the components, set the global message to be a redirect and put a itemid and that loaded an article...but it does not, it shows the joomla blue Thank you for your e-mail. message and the main area is filled with the form and not the article.

It would be great if the module could take a redirect url so we can specify an article or menu link to go to for each module, rather than rely on the global in the component which at present is not working.

This is an out of the box install of joomla 1.5.21, your very latest module purchased yesterday and the component is also a yesterday download after our chat about the show hide on the map and the fact I was a version old.

O and I run the London Joomla User group, your contact enhanced has been on our, "must use" list for some months, only just discovered the module so will be adding that to the list for next meeting!

Wow, what can I say!! An answer within the hour apologizing for not being quicker, a modification to the code and my wish list added and sent via email to test withing 5 hours.

It installed like a dream, and there was the added field to add the redirect as requested...I added my menu item and it worked.

Thank you so much for the reply, and prompt support. Gives confidence when using products to know the developer is there if things go wrong and can fix and add within a day.
