Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Doesn't honor joomfish translation of Recipient

14 years 2 weeks ago #2696 by epocket
Hello.
Installed several Ajax Contact modules. Translated them in Joomfish. They look ok but doesn't honor translation of reciepent email adress. They all send to the adress I defined in default language. (I have changed them in joomfish)

Exept from this everything is working fine.

Also I wonder how to change the "Send email" button in different languages?

All forms, in all languages, are Ajax Contact ...

Best
Tina

Dear Tina,

By default Ajax Contact uses the email in Joomla Global Configuration for teh recipient, however you can set up a different recipient in the Module Parameters;

If you are using JoomFish all you have to do is translate the language file ([Joomla]/language/en-GB/en-GB.mod_ajax_contact.ini) to different languages. You can read more instructions here:

If you have any further question, please do not hesitate to ask;

Best regards,

This is exactly what I did. I defined different addresses in default language and in all translations. It does not send it to Joomla Global Conf. It sends it to default lang. Module-defined receipent. But not to the translated adresses.

Just wanted to post that Douglas solved my problems brilliantly! He made an update to the code and even installed it on my site.
Great support!
