Internal Server Error during installation

I've changed Joomla's config and will soon change php config.

Just out of interest - is it possible to install the component/modules/plugins just by manually copying directories and files onto the server?

I have now increased max_execution_time and memory_limit (and error reporting setting changed in Joomla) - but still getting an error

I'm going to send Contact Enhanced and the plugins separately in order to see if it works.

The module, feedback and author plugins installed immediately and without problems. But the contact component still triggered an internal server error... Very odd!

Is there a way I can install it manually?

Also, could you send the following so that I could install them individually as well:
- plg_contactenhanced_search
- plg_contactenhanced
- plg_captcha
- plg_add_ce_form

Manual installation is a bit tricky.

You will have to uncompress the package and copy the contents of /admin to [Joomla]/administrator/components/com_contact_enhanced/ and /site to [Joomla]/components/com_contact_enhanced/

Open PHPMyAdmin and run teh queries in
/admin/install/install.sql and /admin/install/install.default_values.sql First change all #__ occurrences to jos_ or the table prefix that your Joomla installation is using.
Then you have to create an entry in the jos_components in order to store the Component parameters and show the link in the Administrator Menu.

Once you get that part working I'll create an installation package for the other plugins.
