Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

× Contact Enhanced is a contact component manager created to replace Joomla! core contacts component and add lots of advantages and new features (see Features ) and it offers many plugins and modules for several different purposes,

trying to control title

13 years 9 months ago #3511 by blue_Shift
Where is the css tag for the form header... or to what position is the form published? I need to either 1) set the h1 tag of the title to match the rest of my site, or 2) to publish a title module just above the contact_enhanced form.

Dear blue_shift,

By default CE displays the Menu item's title, however you can change the Menu Item Page Title parameter!

Select Menus → [name of the menu] from the drop-down menu on the back-end of your Joomla! installation. For example, if a Menu is called "Main Menu", select Menus → Main Menu.
Then Select the Contact Enhanced Menu item that you've already created.
Set the Page Title under Parameters (System). The Page Title displays in the title area of browser window. If this is left blank, the Menu Title is used. If the Show Page Title parameter is set to 'Yes', this title also displays as the title of the page. Which is what you want.

Sincere regards,

My problem is that the theme.css wasn't detecting the title and setting it to h1. I managed a solution - publishing a title-only custom mod, and the solution looks good.

Dear blue_shift,

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. This could be accomplished by changing/adding the line below to the CSS file:
h1.componentheading{/* your changes would come here*/}

Best wishes,
