Contact Creator Plugin

Hi

I have the version 3.13 of the Contact Creator Plugin installed but together with CE 5.0 it does not work anymore. Did I missed an update for that? I have the CE PRO version but can't find it in the zip file.

I apologize for the delayed response.

I regret to inform you that the mentioned plugin, which was originally developed for Contact Enhanced for Joomla 3, has not been upgraded to be compatible with Joomla 4 and 5. Initially, it was created as a custom solution for a specific user. Since that user no longer utilizes the plugin, we made the decision not to implement it for the latest Joomla versions.

However, we are open to considering the possibility of implementing the plugin for Joomla 4 and 5. In order to better understand your requirements, could you please clarify whether you utilize all the features of the plugin or if you only require the option to create a contact whenever a new user is created?

We used the function "to create a contact whenever a new user is created" only. So if this functionality could be implemented with a reasonable amount of effort, we'd like it. On the other hand we would understand it if that's not easily possible. Kind of nice to have I must confess, but nice anyway.

I wanted to provide you with an update on the progress I've made. I have been working diligently on implementing the feature that allows for creating a contact and ensuring its synchronization (specifically, from the user to the Contact). I anticipate that it will be completed by the end of today or possibly by Monday.

Rest assured, as soon as I have finished the implementation, I will promptly send it to you. Furthermore, this new functionality will be included in the upcoming release, ensuring its availability to all users.
