Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Search doesn't seem to work

Hi,

I am using the latest iStoreLocator and Joomla 3.6.5. I am NOT using Contact Enhanced. I have been able to set it up but the "Search" doesn't seem to work. I have tried the settings just like the demo. Currently there are only three rows of data, i.e three locations. I have placed the plugin in "Contact Us" page from Contacts. Placed the code in "Miscellaneous" section of the contact. Is some setting incorrect? Should I create the map as another article.

Any idea why it doesn't work.

Dear Amal,

I can see the following error in the Browser's Console:

This API project is not authorized to use this API. Please ensure this API is activated in the Google Developers Console: console.developers.google.com/apis/api/places_backend?project=_


Please follow the link above and enable the Google Places API Web Service

Ok, I enabled the API and it works now. Sorry, I missed that. Thanks.
Minor clarification:
- "Show Route" shows route from the location which I search first, it assumes that is "Home". Is that the way it is supposed to work.
- I can still see two errors in Console, "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)". Couldn't understand the reason for those errors. Are they related to Store Locator.
