Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Recaptcha: Could not open socket

Hi,

I use the component enhanced, and it works great EXCEPT with the "recaptcha" plugin (in the captcha plugin I would like to use the "recaptcha").
I have generate public and private key.
But when I submit the form, I have "could not open socket" error.

It seems it is really a recaptcha lib issue. What is the version of the lib used ?

Someone got a solution ?

First of all I need to know if you posted in the correct forum.
Do you need assistance for the Contact Enhanced or Ajax Contact?

No one has ever complained about that.

I've tested again and it is still working on my test version, so I don't believe it is related to the recaptchalib.php version and I've just compared and there aren't many significant changes.

It might be an incompatibility with your system, please read this old thread (2008):

If you want to update you can download this package below [1], extract to your file system and upload recaptchalib.php to [Joomla]/plugins/content/captcha_systems/
