Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Error After installing

7 years 4 months ago #22531 by Giak
Hello, at loading the page it gets very slow and it hangs for a while.
then on click between fields i get these errors
mozHidden’ and ‘mozVisibilityState’ are deprecated. Please use the unprefixed ‘hidden’ and ‘visibilityState’ instead
and
ReferenceError: yesajax is not defined
(yesAjzax is a Js function and on click calls it from other section which is in)
And one more, with older version, this yesAjax return result ONLY when Azaxcontact is in same page.
With this new version, this function gives me this error.! Strange ha ?

Dear Giak,

I see you are using an outdated Joomla version, but that's should not be the cause.

Can you please provide a direct link to the page where the Ajax Contact Module is loaded.

PS: I have moved this thread to the Ajax Contact Module category instead of Contact Enhanced Component (which is an entirely different extension).

Best regards,

Dear Giak,

None of the errors are related to Ajax Contact.

I've searched the entire source code for 'mozHidden’ and ‘mozVisibilityState’ but I didn't get any occurrence.

I might be a mistake, but it seems your template is loading it's own jQuery Javascript instead of the jQuery included in Joomla (it is a compressed file, so I don't know exactly).

Best regards,

I made a copy of my joomla and i upgrade it to 3.6.4 so i unistall the old Ajaxcontact and install the one for this joomla version.
As i notice, Responsive Css3 slider comes with this too...
The problem is when i try to open the module, page goes full white with a slider to choose either Ajax or Css3 and nothing happens
What can i do about it?

Dear Giak,

Can you please set error reporting to Maximum in Joomla Global Configuration and then provide the Error code and line number?

Dear Giak,

I'm not exactly sure what you mean when you say "this happens to administrator menu". Do you mean when you edit the Module in the back-end?
If so, please go to Joomla Global Configuration and under the Server tab set Error Reporting to Maximum, then reload Ajax Contact Module Edit page. You will most likely see an error code, file path and line number.

Dear Giak,

I couldn't reproduce this issue locally.

Can you please create a backup and provide administrator access, so I can take a look?

You can send the credentials using the Support -> Contact Form.
