The updated ContactCategoryHelper.php file sorted it. Hopefully this will be included in future updates.

I'm sorry about the delayed reply. Yesterday there was electric power instability at the data center where our website is hosted and our websites were down for most of the afternoon. It was the first time this happened.
As for the problem you reported. It seems the problem is with the "Contact Enhanced Category" module. Am I correct? I'm having a hard time reproducing it locally. We didn't make any changes to our modules, only to the component and the changes made shouldn't affect any module.
