popup error message on Contact Enhanced Menu Item.

I have a website with Contact Enhanced installed. The site has been up for 3-4 years and the Contact Enhanced menu item / page has been working normally. The joomla version is up to date and the components are all up to date, including CE. Recently (with in the last week or so) when the Contact Enhanced page which displays an contact category with description and the contacts in that category is loaded, a quasi popup box loads with a browser error message saying "Requests to the server have been blocked by an extension." The page is loaded correctly, but this box with error message is overlayed and it cannot be closed.

This does not happen when the individual contact forms are opened and the forms work.

If I change the menu item to point to a regular joomla contact, so no CE component is loaded, this doesn't happen.

It happens with all browsers.

If I unpublish all contacts, it still happens when the CE category page is loaded.

I have Contact Enhanced installed on several other Joomla installs and this is not happening there.

I believe this might have to do with an outdated php version (5.6), and I'm having the host upgrade that, but if anyone has ideas why this is occuring I'd love to hear them.

I have just loaded your page on Chrome and Firefox and they both worked properly, without any popup.

I did see an error on your Browser's Console:

Mixed Content: The page at ' www.liveoakagency.com/contact-us ' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure script ' cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/waypoints/2.0.3/waypoints.min.js '. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

This waypoints library is probably added by your template, so you can probably contact your template developer to fix it or find out where it is loaded and replace http:// with https:// or make it protocol agnostic and replace http:// with //.

I'm still working on getting some server upgrades, but your post said everything loaded properly. Can you confirm you are not getting this when you load that page?


I just want to make sure I'm tracking down a real problem and not something in my network.

I do see an error on Firefox ( See screenshot ). I'm not sure why it is loading on Contact Enhanced page, but I assure you it's not part of Contact Enhanced. It is loading an iframe and a div with id="glossary_words", which is not part of Contact Enhanced ( See Scrrenshot ).

Tracked down the issue, but have no clue to how it occured. I suspect a hack somehow, but not sure how.

There is iFrame code inserted in the CE category description text.

No idea where that came from. That number is not correct for the site either.
