Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

× Contact Enhanced is a contact component manager created to replace Joomla! core contacts component and add lots of advantages and new features (see Features ) and it offers many plugins and modules for several different purposes,

It worked for me this morning when I checked. I did have to download the package and manually install it. I wasn't able to update via the Extensions -> Update component.

So is the issue with PHP 7.4?

The site I tested on is running PHP 7.2 at the moment - not sure it matters but thought I'd put it out there.

Greetings,

Due to some changes in how Joomla handles the updates (extra_query), I had to change the script on our update server. I also released a new minor CE version with some changes in order to make sure future updates will continue to work properly.

The problem is now fixed, but before upgrading please clear the update cache and click on the Find Updates button again (in Extensions » Manage » Update). Just to make sure you'll get the latest release.

Thank you for your patience.

Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Most sites seem to have updated without issue but a few did not want to play the game. I had to manually install 3.9.10.1 for these. On one I tried installing 3.9.10 and then updating to 3.9.10.1, that worked so it seems like its fixed - Well done guys :)

FBO others: the upload_max_filesize is a parameter set in cPanel or Plesk, ie, at the hosting level, not in Joomla. There will be a php tool there that will allow you to locally or globally set this parameter, which should be at least 128MB for file upload, which will let the Joomla admin upload large components directly rather than using ftp or cPanel/Plesk File Manager.. (I leave max_post low to minimize abuse on the few WordPress sites I manage.)
