Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

I have my custom modal opening a ce form with the url containing query strings. All works fine but after submitting the form I would like to reload my current page where I opened the modal popup from. Instead by default the modal popup page closes and the form reloads back in a full page. How can I stay on the same page when modal closes and not to reload the submitted form?

I have changed the default thank you notice to html template. It works but it generates an error.

Greetings,

I don't think this error message is from Contact Enhanced. In fact, I've searched the entire Contact Enhanced and Joomla Source code and I didn't find this string "Error Authorizing request".

Is there any other plugin or extension that might be throwing this error?

It might actually be a case how I use the form...Not sure what is the issue though...

Can I use javascript to reload to the parent page after submitting in the modal form?

There's no such feature out of the box, however if you know Javascript you can add some Javascript to the Thank You Page to do that for you..

Joomla default WYSIWYG HTML editor does not allow javascript, so you might need to either disable the editor plugin or use another editor plugin that allows Javascript.

Thanks for the idea. That helped me. I still need to however figure out to add a successful message to the reloaded page.
In meantime I noticed that I cannot assign to a contact form a thank you default message if the global template is html template.
Basically, I would like to keep the global thank you html template but to be able to assign the default message (info notice) to individual contacts.

It's not clear to me what you need to accomplish.

Anyway, you can assign specific Thank you HTML Templates to specific contacts. Just go to Components » Contact Enhanced » Templates, create your unique template. Then go to Components » Contact Enhanced » Contacts, edit your contact and under the Templates tab select the Thank you template you want for that specific contact.
